Case Study
Torch Digital Labs partnered with EnFin, a newly established residential solar lender to create their brand identity, website and marketing content and design their internal project management software.
The Task
EnFin is essentially a startup within a larger solar manufacturer, Qcells which meant they needed to establish a brand identity from scratch.
With only a name and a logo, EnFin and Torch partnered to establish a brand that would attract partner installers and home owners alike. Following Torch's branding process, customer personas were created, the competition was analyzed, and a clear set of messaging emerged.

EnFin needed a modern look and feel to stand out from existing brands in the market and that meant leveraging Torch's designers, illustrators, animators, and developers to create a cohesive experience that extended from their website to their training and onboarding materials as well as their customer portal.
UI/UX for Customer Portal
In addition to the website and brand, Torch brought in their UI/UX team to help produce final user interfaces for EnFin's partner and home owner dashboards. Working with one agency led to a unified look and feel across both the website and the application
Website Design and Development
Website design and development began once the brand guidelines were established. A site map was built and after a few design iterations development began. The website and blog were both built using Webflow to make managing the site easy while also achieving the look and feel set out in the designs.

A long-term partnership
EnFin has continued to work with Torch beyond the initial branding and website projects including collaborating on this animated explainer video, having torch help produce their onboarding and training videos and presentation materials. The continued work means for efficient projects and consistant branding across all of their internal and external materials.
